“So what does AZTEQ stand for”, the curious explorer asked to the courageous tribe warriors. The Chiefs looked at each other and back to the explorer, looking straight and with certainty held their breath. “We can tell you all about what it stands for, what it does, how to utilize it and how to gain from its tremendous power. We can show you how it is capable to change entire worlds, how it allows you to move mountains. It is what drives the wind that sail our ships and fills the heart of our young and elderly”, the warrior princess said eloquently. The other Chiefs grunted as they agreed. And if the whole tribe came together as a single voice, the explorer felt the goosebumps as the sound became words and formed a powerful statement… “It is the technology of the Gods”

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away some crazy people got together. A hackathon had been won and made with a tool that would quickly conjure a multiplayer environment and allowed its players to trade items using blockchain and do so using a technology that was abandoned by some big names for being to chaotic and unmaintainable. It deserved - after a lot of consumption of a strange liquid - to be looked upon, see if something viable could be made out of it. It was at that moment just a bunch of code and things and nothing like a product that could easily be tailored into something sellable to others. Boilerplate, that should be it! And so a journey started where the crazy bunch worked on something that would build a multi user environment that would support cryptocurrency. “Sounds like a metaverse to me”, said one. “No, a Web3 metaverse builder”, said another. The one that didn’t had any idea about the merits said, “It sounds like A to Z technology to me”, and suddenly light started to shimmer in the room. As if they transformed into anime characters in a vivid scene, the whisper became a word, and the word came alive in the form of AZTEQ. The crazy people who were the code monkeys starting to jab the keyboards and started to build - not caring about a bear market or what all the other things in the crypto space were doing.

Born on January 1st, 2023 - AZTEQ - the most versatile utility coin became the center of gravity of the project. It didn’t take long before the code monkeys discovered that there were limitations on existing platforms; Ethereum would simply not be viable without working with a L2 partner and BNB Chain had its own quirks in its implementation. It was the first brick for “Avenge” that was laid back then. To truly provide a metaverse building tool, the project needed a blockchain. One capable to merge and deflate things into an universal document that could be recorded on chain and have a fast block finality. Yet, there were other challenges - consensus. Which one to choose and if needed which one to improve? Hours spend by studying others to take notes what are they doing right and what things caused horror and anxiety. Eventually, the chain became a reality with its own virtual machine, some protocols and a collection of consensus mechanisms. “We did it”, said the crazy people. “Finally a blockchain that can support our Web3 metaverse builder!”, they cheered.

They had a bunch of code, capable of flipping out a metaverse with some simple clicks and voila, one could play and interact with each other, whether on a mobile phone or a desktop. Things were just being polished up and it didn’t take long before some interested people got to know us a little bit better. And every time it needed demonstration, it ended up in a direct sale of AZTEQ.

Months passed. The project took a wild turn - a need for assets that could use the 3D variant of existing NFT’s became a hot topic. Instead of manually tailoring demands, the team worked on a factory for this purpose only. But like all simple ideas, they turn out to become a whole beast of their own. “Let’s use a node editor to make this easier”, said one of the basement monkeys. “Wait, what visual scripting, what has gotten into you?”, and a whole evening of weird liquids took over the story that became the Infinity SDK (before it was named as such).

“This is all incredible how it comes to life”, said one of the fans when running around in the demo world. Every time a change was made it was just pushed into an environment that kept running all the time. The handshaking business people wizard from the project wasn’t very tech savvy, so the basement monkeys just kept it all alive with a simple hyperlink - how else to demonstrate a metaverse builder without some kind of metaverse, right? The wizard was so happy with it and baptized the playground as “AZTEQ Metaverse Live”, which did give it a proper ring. It took just a few weeks when it was abbreviated to just “Live”, until it finally morphed into Life, a place where you could do things and live a virtual life.

Meanwhile in the basement, tasks where overflowing the icebox. So much to do and every day new things need to be done or looked at. “Hold on”, said one of the monkeys, “Why won’t we use a funky library that can analyze what is going on and perform some basic tasks, that would kill most of the things out of the icebox”, he said out loud in an Einstein moment of clarity. The monkeys applauded and poof - a shell appeared and spaCy appeared (the library, not Kevin). They trained it, beat it a little around like a parent from the 60s and it turned out to become a little gem, made in the bedrocks and caves of AZTEQ Metaverse, what once upon a time was a tool became a bit sentient. “Pinocchio”, said its creator. The monkeys did not applaud, so it remained unnamed for a while.

“Wow, wow”, said one of the exciting engineers from Awesome Game Studio, “you mean you can encapsulate all these digital assets like if you put them into a box and put a bunch of boxes inside another box, like a freaking matryoshka?”, with the sound of excitement as he spoke. “Yes, and it all gets better and amazing and godly…”, said one of the basement monkeys. “That is beyond comprehension on a level of astronomy outside of the visible universe, where can I see this?”, the engineer asked almost exploding out of his socks. “Uhhhhhh….”, the basement monkey uttered and carefully slipped from the conversation back into the basement.

“We need to make this more visible”, said the legendary kung fu monkey. “Let’s make a wallet, that should do the trick!”, some monkeys said while peeling bananas. “Nay”, the legendary kung fu monkey replied, “Wallets have been made and wallets there are everywhere. We need something any wallet can connect to. Like an … explorer … but for digital assets!”, he said with a sense of Eureka. They all applauded and started to dash away to their battle stations. Some tinkering was heard as the basement monkeys worked on and on.
