The year 2022. The metaverse, the hot topic for everyone yet barely touched as the technology wasn’t ready for adventurers. You experienced that all these big dreams and projects tried their very best, but sadly the experiences were everything except mind blowing. In its late term, you saw a glimpse of something extraordinary, something that caught your eye. A game engine, that wasn’t like the space shuttles you knew, but one with faster than light engines. The first one that went warp.

For years it has been a wild dream: the Metaverse. A place where everyone comes together in a virtual space, to overcome that disconnected experience from bland webpages and apps, while our devices are capable to deliver an immersive experience. An environment like this however requires state of the art technology, the right mindset from people with a variety of disciplines and the financial backing to support it.

The barrier to entry is one rarely put on the drawing board - if you build it, they will come, but what happens once they get there? The ease of use made social media successful and we have the rise of Web 2.0 technologies to thank for it to facilitate near real-time duplex interaction on a stateless Internet. Adding a third dimension needs now more than ever a seamless experience for people to adopt the Metaverse into their daily life.

The visual aspect is just a part of the equation. The question is on how to unlock GameFi for everyone? Surely, there are plenty of blockchain games out there, but existing as isolated islands and do not combine the social value and capabilities of decentralized finance together. These challenges are not for the faint of mind as their complexity emerges the more you zoom in. Integrating systems and provide user satisfaction is a craft that requires more than engineering.

There was no Web3 game engine that could compete with the biggest, certainly not one with blockchain tailored for it, being interoperable and provide a plug and play interface for third parties to bring their content into a metaverse that supports ultra high capacity for the masses to join. And certainly not a project that brought these together with a team of best and brightest, big name partnerships, over 6,800 playable avatars and the full circle of support when it comes to DeFi.

Until now.
